Welcome to our website. First we wish to thank you for your interest in Fantasy Lane Stable. As you read through our literature we hope you'll agree FLS provides the best and most inexpensive way of participating in owning thoroughbred horses in the Sport of Kings. Fantasy Lane Stable is NOT a claiming stable. Instead we offer unraced two-year olds in training. Owning a two-year old is not only very exciting but you just never know as you may find that special champion. We've been blessed that in the past three years FLS has found and developed three stakes horses. We don't buy other people's champions as some expensive partnerships do but find our own. Last season we bought R Betty Graybull for $60,000. All she did was earn $168,000 in just 4 starts while winning the $200,000 NATC Futurity Stakes. She raced at Saratoga, Belmont, Monmouth Park and Philadelphia Park. The previous year our $100,000 purchase Cobra Strike was 2nd in the $200,000 NATC Futurity and raced in the $250,000 Breeders' Cup Favorite Trick Stakes. 2-Yr. Old Training in Ocala
All horses are living breathing creatures so please note that your investment involves a high degree of risk as there's always a chance of striking out. But, if you swing away for the fence, you may just find that special champion as you just never know. That's why royalty and celebrities are all so excited to be part of the thoroughbred racing world. In 2006, 2007 & again in 2008 we discovered three gems in Justawalkinthepark, Cobra Strike, and R Betty Graybull. All three were purchased as unraced 2-year olds and developed into stakes caliber horses. And this does not include our other MSW (Maiden Special Weight) and Allowance horses. We're off to the 2-year old in Training Auctions and by the time we return we'll be sold-out as we have been for 10 consecutive years. For slightly more than the cost of airfare you and your family can enjoy a full season {April to November} of exciting thoroughbred racing action in the Sport Of Kings. The economics are such that it costs the same, about $36,000 per year, to feed a cheap claimer as it does the Kentucky Derby winner. But, with claimers, there's rarely any upside. And, eventually, the economics of the sport will swallow an owner up. That's why we prefer to swing for the fences with promising two-year olds. We prefer the athlete first and work long and hard to find that right horse. As you continue to explore our website we hope to answer all of your questions.
